HOW I READ: LES MIS

In the chapter 9 the effects  that   Hugo uses a lot of indirect characterization to imply the Bishop's character like in chapter 8 where instead of arguing with the senator he remained calm. Hugo also describes the setting especially the buildings like the Bishop's house. Similes like " It was like water on dry soil; no matter how much money he received, he never had any. Then he stripped himself.  " creates pictures in our minds to better understand.  Foreshadowing like in Chapter 8 Philosophy After Drinking f oreshadows how the senator was acting towards the Bishop after drinking. At the beginning Hugo used alliteration to give it more meaning.

LESS MIS #10

In chapter 10, a character new  was introduced, Something that caught my attention was the way it said "Member of the Convention, G  was mentioned with a sort of horror in the little world of D and  A member of the Convention can you imagine such a thing?." It caught my attention because it kind of foreshadows that something may happen between him and the bishop.

LESS MIS#9

In chapter 9, I noticed that it was mainly about how the bishop sister always supports him despite the danger. His sister at first didn't like like the idea of him just going freely but then she got used to it. Something that popped out to me was that both women depend on the bishop because normally women don't want to depend on someone.

LES MIS #8

In chapter 8 the guy told the bishop that god is unless. The bishop just clapped his hands and the bishop did not feel bother. The Bishop is also saying that he will not argue but he will still get to his point.  Especially when the senator gave out his speech of philosophy. The Bishop would hid his direct messages to the senator in a very wise philosophy. I got to admit it was a little funny how the Bishop was implying but not implying towards the senator.

LES MIS#7

I n chapter 7 it was talked about how the bishop was not afraid to not lock his house door even if he had something valuable. He later mention that he isn't afraid because he puts it on the hands of God. The bishop believes that great danger lies in ourselves. He was also deciding whether the valuable item should go to the hospital or to the cathedral.

HOW WE READ

Reading is supposed to be fun, but sometimes reading for school is a challenge.  Here are four ways we can have more fun reading and do it better at the same time. The first thing is that you should get books that catch your attention. You can usually tell if you like the book in the first couple of pages. The second thing you can do to enjoy reading more is that you can dig in more into the book like learn the backstory of the book or learn more about the author as you can look for what books he/she has wrote. You can also watch videos of the author talking about themselves and see what they say. The third thing you can do is define the word "read". The way you can do this is by reading more books you like and review books you dislike. Lastly you should stop looking for answers on one page and start developing    developing the expertise and the confidence that will enable you to find them in yourselves. For example if the book has a movie you can read parts of the book

PAGES FROM MY JOURNAL#2

October 2I think people depend on push notifications because it reminds them with just a click of a button. October 5I think the figurative language symbolize peace. I think it supposed to make us feel calm. October 6To meet people and build a relationship I think you got to be talkative. To build relationships and meet people online I think you have to be interesting.

LES MIS #6

In chapter 6, it talked about the last piece of new information we get is that the one earthly possession bishop does not let go of is his silverware. It also talked about how the bishop is always open for people that need him. They also get a house tour on his new home (well basically the old hospital).

LES MIS#5

In this chapter 5 , I found it interesting  that the Bishop is a very busy man and anytime that is not spent on the church or the community is spent on his garden and his writing. When he would go to the bishop he would help the poor. Purple was also vey expensive and usually it was received for royalty.

LES MIS #4

After reading chapter 4 it was very interesting from the start to the end. The author writing it he was in shock at how he could do something that horrible. I feel like that it was unfair since the situation didn't get out of hand and affected large parts of the world. My opinions on the death penalty are complicated but I strongly oppose it.

WHAT I CHOOSE WHAT I CHOOSE

I choose the book that is call Jungle because I like to study animals how they life and others things about them like what things each animal eat and how they survive in bad situations.

LES MIS #3

I n the chapter 3, M. Myriel had to go around places for pastoral visits. He went to Senez, and people would laugh at him for ridding donkeys. So I'm guessing he likes ridding donkeys.

LES MIS #2

I think that is  about the story made me focus more on  M. Myiel because he was nice to people, he would give them money or help them out and he didn't want the money to himself. That's what I would do also if I had money. Instead of me being wealthy, I would rather help people that are out in the streets with no home or food. Having money doesn't make you a better person but helping people does.

LES MIS #1

In  the first chapter starts by introducing us to Monseigneur Charles-Francois-Bienvenu Myriel, Bishop of Dine. In this chapter it tell us a little about him it says that he got marry at a young age. That sadly his wife died. And that after that he became a priest.

Essay right to your opinion

Can arguing and giving up any "right" to our own opinion save our lives, improve our country, and secure the future for the next generation? I believe it can and I will tell you how it can save our lives, improve our country, and secure the future for the next generation by giving up any "right" to our opinion. The first statement is how can it save our lives by just giving up any "right" to our own opinion? In my opinion a lot of things can saves us by just giving up our opinion. For example, most people believe that staying at home during the pandemic is not the best way of doing things to stay safe. They argue on how they are going to be working and maintain their families with food if they can't go out. So they just go with their opinion, and start making their own decisions and with that, they are putting other peoples lives endanger but if they give up their opinion and starting to the doctors, then everyone will be save. The second statement i

IT'S SYMBOLIC

  1. Tree examples of symbols that I encounter on my life one is that thumbs up symbol and I use it in messenger another is the heart symbol and is to express love the last one is the start to express hope 2.Two  possible meaning is that t he green light at the end of Daisy 's dock is one of the most obvious symbols in The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The green light, which Gatsby can barely see from the end of his own dock, represents the  hope (dream)   Gatsby has of being reunited with Daisy, the woman he loves. The green light is only mentioned three times in the novel. 3.Ways that people is similar to animal are the some animals had a very similar expression another one is that  animals also have feelings and know how to love. 4.A difference of people from animals is that the humans always destroy a lot of things and the animals don't destroy another thing is that all humans had a lot of imagination, humans are organized in large numbers. 5.Telling stories or inven

I think that the right to the    own opinion is the  basic molecule of human dignity , as it is the basic molecule of a true democracy. A crowd is not a court, and a mob has no conscience.
